This year’s event marks the milestone of over 8,000 students receiving their degrees and starting a new chapter in their lives. South University Graduation Date and Location
The South University graduation will take place on Saturday, April 24th, 2021 at the University of South Florida’s Sun Dome Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The ceremony will begin promptly at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately two hours. The University encourages all graduates to arrive at least one hour prior to the start of the ceremony.
What to Expect at South University Graduation
The 2021 South University graduation ceremony will feature a keynote address from a distinguished speaker, as well as the conferring of degrees and recognition of outstanding students and faculty. Graduates will have the opportunity to have their names announced and walk across the stage to receive their diploma covers. The University will also recognize the 2021 Hall of Excellence inductees, as well as all graduates who have achieved Dean’s List honors.
Dress Code for South University Graduation
Graduates must adhere to the University’s dress code for the graduation ceremony. The dress code is business professional attire for both men and women. Men must wear a suit and tie, while women must wear a dress or skirt and blouse. All graduates must also wear their South University academic regalia, which includes the cap and gown, tassel, and hood (if applicable).
Other Important Information About South University Graduation
The University will provide a complimentary lunch for all graduates and their guests following the graduation ceremony. Additionally, a memory book will be provided which will contain the names of all graduates in attendance. The University strongly encourages all graduates to bring a government-issued photo ID with them to the ceremony.
Tickets and Parking for South University Graduation
Tickets are not required for the 2021 South University graduation ceremony, however, seating is limited and guests will be asked to leave if the stadium reaches capacity. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to secure a seat. Parking will be available in the Sun Dome Stadium parking lot at a cost of $10 per vehicle.
